After completing his training in the prestigious David Marshall School of Hairdressing, Richard O’Keeffe progressed to the flagship Dawson Street salon with David Marshall. After four years there, he gained international experience from St. Helier to Sydney before returning to his native Mullingar, carrying with him the David Marshall ethos of ‘attention to detail’.
Since opening his first salon, “The Lane Hair Studio” in 1992, Richard has grown his business steadily always maintaining his high standards . In 2008 he purchased what is now known as “The Hair Company” in Castle St. Mullingar. “thehaircompany.ie” is a premium hair studio employing professional, experienced staff. Even through the downturn, the salon has maintained its prices and wage structure and attracts clients from all over the country.
